fun! hours spent folding and folding origami balloons for xmas light strings. so cute! kate was kind enough to host another girls craft night. look at troy with his headphones on, trying to drown out the sound of girlie giggling. jane busted out a whole bag full. one more session and we should have enough for 1 strand of lights... i love my girls.

Thankful

This past weekend Christy and I went to COCA. One of the artists had taken 2 photos of herself every hour (yes, every hour!) everyday for 18 months. Watching the looping video stills of her many many images made me think about time and how quickly life passes us by.

Fleeting images and sounds fill our days and most often we barely register them. I wonder just how often I fall into comfortable routine, missing what is actually in front of me.

Having family and friends to share with is something I'm very thankful for.
