last years kisses

tonight i went to see sarah rudinoff performing "last year's kisses" at the theater off jackson.

the show just opened this weekend and will run through the first weekend in march. sarah and her amazing all girl band perform love song after love song. sarah is a force, her voice is like a band in itself, full of soul and sass. she is adorable, radiant, talented...love her!

i was surprised by the range of covers; roxy music, fiona apple, jeff buckley, liz phair, judy garland...

go go go! it will inspire and fill you with a bounty of joy. the perfect valentine's day show :)

here is the finished tote! it now measures 12.5 x 13 (18x21.5 before felting)

took about 45 minutes in the washer to get to this point. i think i should have taken it out a little earlier. oh well.

its still pretty cute whether it holds an ibook or not.

my tote is finished and felted. i think i may have gone overboard on the felting, we'll see. the drying out process should take a few days. pics up this weekend. next project: socks.

after a lovely lunch at macrina karl and i spent time browsing around expensive furniture shops. check out these crazy chairs! comfy, soft, very much like a cocoon of sorts. they even look a little like creatures, segmented with pointy ears. hee hee. lounge away.
